Rabat’s Medina

The destruction of the Moorish Andalousian civilisation (the Spanish Reconquista) launched a wave of Muslim and Jewish refugees onto Morocco. One of the boroughs they built here is Rabat’s Medina and Kasbah, which I visited today. And I really felt like strolling by one of Andalucía’s Pueblos Blancos. Even the gardens resemble those of La Alhambra!
