Dinner in Beirut

I had a splendid dinner in Beirut with my lovely friends Vanessa and Theo. Theo’s mom, Vera, cooked the most amazing babaganoush, tabouleh, hummus, kishik and other Lebanese specialties, and we drank delicious arak (similar to anis, raki or ouzo, but not the same) made by Theo’s grandpa. And Theo’s dad was chatty chatty. Full Middle Eastern hospitality!
